Jacksonville Locals -- Okay, here's the deal...

Readers, I need your help. I can't tell you how many e-mails and comments I am getting about stores that couponers should stay away from because of rude managers, disrespect, etc. (One reader was ACCUSED of coupon fraud and making stores go out of business. Why should we have to endure that when we are ethically couponing?!)

But I also know there are great stores out there with very coupon-friendly policies. Here's what I would love for you to do, if you live in Jacksonville or the surrounding areas...

Shoot me an e-mail at frugalfunfortune@gmail.com, and tell me what you know about different stores you've been to. I'm mainly looking at Target, Publix, Walgreens, CVS, and Walmart. The two stores that have major coupon issues are Target and Walgreens, so info on those would be really helpful. Also, since Publix coupon policies differ so greatly from store to store, it would be really great if you could send me any info about the couponing policy of the Publix store you shop at.

I will take all of the info I receive and put it into one gigantic list available for everyone to view on the blog. I think this list would be REALLY beneficial to readers, so I appreciate your help! Thanks so much!

Publix Winter Family Savings Booklet - For Locals

Many of you have been asking me where to find the "Winter Family Savings" booklet, because a lot of the best deals lately have involved coupons from this booklet.

If you live in the Jacksonville area, and have had trouble finding this coupon booklet at your store, Silvina emailed me to let me know that the Publix on St. Augustine Rd and 95 (next to Kohl's) has a bunch of them! Good luck!

And keep in mind, all of the coupons in this booklet expire 12/31/09, so it might not be worth making an extra trip if it's really far away...

Awesome Gas Card Deal For Jacksonville Publix Shoppers!

My mother-in-law alerted me to this deal tonight while we were having dinner! I got home and looked around on the internet to see if anybody else had posted about it, and turns out, it's just a deal for the Jacksonville area!

This week at Publix, you get $10 off of a $50 BP gas card, when you make a $25 grocery purchase. This deal is good until November 4th, through the rest of this week's sale. $10 off of gas?! I'll take it!!!

Walgreens grand opening in Jacksonville

This is another one for the Jacksonville locals only. My friend Amy alerted me to the fact that Walgreens on the corner of Baymeadows and Southside has a grand opening going on right now! She said they have some really great prices. Some of the things she saw included a gallon of milk for $1.29, a dozen eggs for $.69, and hydrogen peroxide for $.29! Go check it out!

My friend Sandy alerted me to the fact that Village Inn on San Jose Blvd has stepped it up a notch. They have re-modeled, the food is much tastier, and the service has gotten better! Also, on Wednesdays, they offer a free slice of pie with any entree order. Free dessert? Oh yeah!
