I Haven't Left You, I Promise =)

Sorry for the lack of posts over the past 2 days. My life has been a whirlwind. First of all, we renewed our lease this week, so we were busy with that. Then, last night we went on a family outing to a baseball game with my husband, in-laws, and all my brothers and sisters. We saw an awesome fireworks show and Mark Schultz in concert. It was a lot of fun, but I didn't get home until quite late. Life has just been piling up, too. So much to do, so little time.

Then the real kicker. Thursday night I was extremely excited because I almost had my new site up and ready to go...until I found out that the site was basically not working in Internet Explorer for some reason. Needless to say I had a crying fest really awful night. So I have been dealing with that for the past 2 days, contacting support, crying some more, etc.

To be quite honest, it really took a toll on me. Last night I was considering just quitting blogging all together. That's how upset this entire thing has made me. Something you might not realize is that a blogger's life is extremely stressful and difficult. It's just hard. You put in hours upon hours working on the blog, trying to make it the best it can be. At least a couple times a week, you get extremely nasty comments from readers that make you so upset that you just lose all your motivation for blogging. Not to mention all of the behind the scenes work that it requires. Oh, and we're supposed to have lives...I forgot about that one!

So yeah, luckily I have a great support system of bloggers (especially my best blogging buddy Rose) who have been there to encourage me and not let me give up. And even more...I am so grateful to have such awesome readers. Any time I get pushed to the limit and want to just throw my hands up in surrender, I remember all of you. I remember all of the e-mails from people who have been blessed as a result of this blog. I remember how many encouraging e-mails I get, which make all of those nasty and rude e-mails worth it!

I love you guys. This morning my sister is taking me out for a late birthday surprise, but I'll be back this afternoon to play catch up! Have a great day!

Why oh why do people have to be rude? You have enough stress in your life as it is. Don't let them get you down. Everything will work out on that new site and I'm sure you will have it up soon. Keep encouraged, don't give up! We'll be praying for you!

My husband designed a website in the past using a variant of Wordpress (which I think is what you're using based on Twitter, right?) - Shoot me an email if you need some help, he might be able to figure it out. I know he had some issues getting it online at first, too, but it worked out in the end :).

I'm so sorry you're having to deal with nasty, rude people on here, honestly, I don't understand people like that!! They've got to be in a lot of pain themselves to go inflicting their nastiness and cause pain to others!!

I wholeheartedly agree with all the other're doing an AWESOME job!! I love seeing your posts cuz we've gotten some really great deals from them. We're in southern California though and don't have a few of the stores that have the really cool, makes me wanna move 'back' to somewhere that does!!

I know how hard you're working...not just on this (which is a FULL time job on it's own!!!) but also working and being a good wife, friend, daughter and having time for YOU, etc! I feel bad when you apologize for taking time 'off' for you.

They say you make a better mom when you MAKE the time to take care of yourself, having time JUST for you. This is your 'baby' right now and you have to remember to UNAPOLOGETICALLY take/make time for you (and hubby, friends, family if you want, lol). After all, if this is no longer fun and rewarding and is just a dreaded chore, well shoot...what's the point in that! :)

I LOVE your blog, LOVE the deals, ADMIRE all the hard, HARD work you put into it, have learned a lot, inspires me a lot to be more frugal with the blessings God's given us! I'll be praying that you can figure out a way to make this compensate you for all your time and effort! THANK YOU for everything you're doing!! :) Keep moving forward!!

Wow, Im so sorry you are having such a stressed time with everything Meg! I honestly often wonder how anyone finds time to blog and have a normal life too- If it wasnt for you I wouldnt have started, I wouldnt have taught my friend with 5 kids to coupon, It gave her back some control in her life that she had lost- THANKYOU so much for that!! I passed on your site to sooo many women- You truly do an honest, and amazing job Meg :) If you need to take a break or even leave entirely it is up to you! You'll be missed ALOT, But you have done SO much for so many- Please dont ever feel bad about having to take a break- I have to say that HOLY MOLY you were SOOO right about those Santitas Tortilla Chips!! I was a faithful Tostitoes User for as long as I can remember and Don and I decided to grab a bag of santitas- He opened them in the parking lot of Publix! LOL I tried one and was WOWED lol- We love them! They made awesome nachos and Thank you!!

I know tosito chips seem so trivial, But they are a part of our lives and you are a part too :)

No matter what, Thank you and I, for one will totally understand whatever you decide to do.

Ill pray for you Meg:)

Also in regards to the rude people- WOW that is horrible, I didnt think a blogger who was helping others would have to have such tough skin- Shame on them- Seriously, I would expose them, maybe they will stop? I know magazines post the good and bad comments and address them. It would give it an open forum so others can address them too - Just sayin.................:)

Hang in there We Love You Meg!

God will show you what you need to do either way:)

i am sorry to hear that you get nasty, rude comments. I can assure you that they are unwarranted. No matter how great of a job you are doing, how great of a person you are, and how much time and effort you put into things, SOME people will always find the negative in anything you do. All you can do is not take it to heart and weed out all the negativity. There are lot of your readers that appreciate all your hard work and generosity in taking the time out of your life to help others. You are truly a blessing and never forget that!!!

I don't know why anyone would send you nasty posts or emails. It is apparent how much you have on your plate, but yet still find the time to create such an awesome blog. I don't know what I would have done without your site. You do an amazing job and save so many of us so much money. Keep up the good work. I appreciate all you do!

God Bless you Meg. I am so sorry to hear that anyone would be rude to you. What in the world could you have written that someone would be offended by?
Your blog is part of my everyday. And all my family knows about you too! I would so miss you if you stopped.
Don't change a thing!

You are doing such a great job on this blog. I am appreciative of your tips. I have become more aware of spending and try to do better with the coupons. I can't say I am a 100% couponer, but am being more conscious of prices. Thank you so much for all the time and effort you put in on this blog. You're a good person. Thank you.
