Super Savings Saturday!

Don't you just love fresh starts? I was thankful when March 1st came around. A new month, a new budget to start over with. And in this case, we even revamped our grocery budget a bit. We will now have a grocery budget of $50 a week, rather than $35. It's hard for me to come to terms with right now, but I think it will be for the better. Anyways, this week was fun. I actually hit up Publix, CVS, and Walgreens! Got some great deals.

Here is what I bought at Publix (pictured above):

2 bags Doritos
1 bag Santitas tortilla chips
2 bunches green onions
1 tomato
2 avocados
1 cucumber
1 garlic bulb
1 serrano pepper
1 jalapeno pepper
1 package frozen green beans
1 head cauliflower
2 packages Kraft chunk cheese
1 Publix plain yogurt
1 package carrots
1 orange bell pepper
1 bunch cilantro
1 poblano pepper
1 sweet potato
1 lime
2 Green Giant Valley Fresh Steamers
1 Knox gelatin
1 bunch bananas
4 packs Frusion smoothies
4 Weight Watchers yogurts
1 can kidney beans
4 cans Del Monte diced tomatoes
1 package Rico rice
2 Pam sprays
1 can black beans
1 Kikkoman soy sauce

Total Before Sales and Coupons: $73.43
Total saved from sales: $22.45
Manufacturer coupons used: $12.20
Store/Competitor coupons used: $12.00
Total amount saved: $46.65
Total paid after all sales and coupons: $26.78

I also spent a total of $12.93 (and saved $50.10) at CVS and Walgreens. You can go HERE to see what I bought. So with Publix and drug store shopping combined, we spent $39.71 on groceries this week! Well under our new $50/week grocery budget!
