Pumpkins...

A while back I recommended Jennifer's article about making your own pumpkin puree. Very helpful!

Here are a couple more pumpkin articles worth reading:

Crystal, over at The Thrifty Mama, has a 3-part series entitled "Make the Most of Your Pumpkin." You can go here to view Part One, which explains how she makes her pumpkin puree every year. Whereas Jennifer makes her puree in the oven, Crystal makes hers on the stove top! Two different ways to make it! Awesome!

Amy, over at The Finer Things, has an incredible collection of pumpkin recipes! Go here to check them out!

Have fun cooking, pureeing, and baking your pumpkins!!! =)

I cooked a good size pumpkin last week-end following Jennifer's method. Super easy! And it produced 9 cups of pumpkin puree. We also roasted the seeds. They were sooo good. They are all gone already. I'm so glad you put these links up because I probably never would have tried to do this otherwise!

That's awesome, Nicole! I'm going to try one of the methods this weekend - not sure which one yet! =)
