Share Your Savings Saturday - Link Up!

Here is what I bought at Publix this week:

4 boxes chocolate Cheerios
1 gallon milk
2 containers Cool Whip
2 Scrubbing Bubbles Power Sprayers
1 bag Santitas tortilla chips
2 Birds Eye frozen vegetables
4 packages Kraft shredded cheese
1 Sara Lee pound cake
4 Tropicana OJ
1 green bell pepper
1 whole pineapple
1 loaf pumpernickel bread
1 loaf Italian bread
1 dozen eggs
5 Yoplait Greek yogurts
2 Marie dressings
1 Breakstone sour cream (16 oz)
1 bulb of garlic
1 bunch bananas
1 package sliced mushrooms
2 tomatoes
1 cream cheese
2 onions
1 package lettuce shreds
1 package dry black beans
2 packages strawberries

Total Before Sales and Coupons: $123.64
Total saved from sales: $34.72
Manufacturer coupons used: $32.50
Store/Competitor coupons used: $14.75
Total amount saved: $81.97
Total paid after all sales and coupons: $41.67

Looks like we barely came in under budget (by $1.07, to be exact) for the month of March, but I'm glad we were able to pull it off this last week by cutting back a little. I really wanted to do a CVS run, but I didn't give in.

March Totals:

1st Week: $39.71
2nd Week: $58.28
3rd Week: $56.23
4th Week: $53.04
5th Week: $41.67

Total spent for month of March: $248.93
Total savings for month of March: $497.57

Great savings!!! We shopped at the Farmers Market this week and saved a bundle and got ALOT of fresh fruit and veggies- Im thinking mostly We are going to be doing that from now on- Can you tell me which Publix had the coup for the scrubbing bubbles?

Thanks awesome, Maria! I love Farmers Markets. =) There's an AWESOME one on Beaver Street that I want to try out, but it's far away from me. Which do you go to? My Publix had the one stop one store booklet - it's on Race Track Road in Julington Creek. Many store should have them. It's just totally random. Usually my store doesn't have the booklets, but I got lucky!
