I just wanted to let you know that I went to Publix last night and got 2 boxes of Froot Loops for .59 total!!! The boxes had a $1 off coupon attached to them, they were BOGO and there was a blinkie for
.70 off one box (so I got 2 of them) and that took 3.40 off the 1 box that I had to pay for!!! :-) My kids and I were super excited!!

Hi Jenn! That's great, however...

I just wanted to let you know that usually blinkies and peelies (the one attached to the box) are both manufacturer coupons, so you wouldn't be able to use both.

You could have either chosen to use (2) $1/1 or (2) $.70/1, since they're both manufacturer.

(Unless of course either the blinkie or peelie was a store coupon, then you could stack them). =)

Not jumping on your case. Just letting you know, for the sake of others who read these comments!

For more info on coupon rules and lingo, try this post:

Thanks for sharing, though! =) Congrats on your deal!

Huh...will I'm definitely a newbie to all of this and clearly don't know all of the lingo and ropes to it...but all coupons were accepted and went through, so maybe 1 was a store coupon and the other a manufacturer's coupon?!?! Thanks for clarifying it though.

Maybe it was a store and manufacturer coupon. Who knows? =)

Not your fault. You didn't know. The cashier pushed them through.

No worries! I'm just here to help you along the way as you learn!

I remember trying to use peelies with other coupons in the beginning, too. My mom had to explain to me that they were both manufacturer. He He.

=)
