The best yogurt in life is...almost-FREE!

We love yogurt, as you can tell from our refrigerator above. =)

Guess how much yogurt we bought this week:
  • 6 packs of Yo-Plus = 24 yogurts
  • 2 packs of Frusion = 8 yogurts (not to mention the 16 that we bought last week)
  • 4 Yoplait Greek yogurts (not to mention the 4 we bought last week)
All total over the past 2 weeks? We bought 56 individual yogurts. Is this excessive? Not for us, since this is both mine and my husband's favorite snack! (My hubby literally drinks like 2 to 3 of those Frusions a day!!!)

The beauty of this wonderfully delicious, high-quality, nutritious yogurt???

Total costs out of pocket:

Yo-Plus = $1.50 (lower than what ONE pack normally costs)
Frusion = $4.47 (one pack normally costs $3.49)
Yoplait Greek Yogurt = completely FREE!

So...for 56 containers of yogurt in our fridge, we paid a grand total of $5.97! Regularly-priced, these would have cost a total of $45.46!!!

This, my friends, is why I love coupons. And the best part? You don't have to sacrifice taste. These are some of the top brands out there for yogurt. So those of you who tell me Walmart is cheaper and coupons are pointless? Go ahead and keep buying your nasty store-brand yogurt, while I continue to bring home bags full of free brand-name yogurt.

He He He.

What About You: Have you gotten in on any of these great yogurt deals at Publix recently?

I didnt snag any of the deals on yogurt at Publix, but while at the commissary at NAS Jax today they had the Yoplait Delights Parfait yogurts, 4 pack for $1.50 and a $1 coupon tearpad in front of it so on impulse I bought 2 (at $0.50 each)...I must say they were DELICIOUS...and only 100 calories! They were my dessert after dinner tonight and Im going to try to go snag some more in the morning!!!

We also eat LOTS of yogurt in our house. If it ever gets close to the sell buy date you can do what we do, Stick it in the freezer! My kids think this is the greatest treat!

I have not done it with the Greek yogurt yet. May have to try that soon.
Thanks for all the work you do here!

We stick ours in the freezer sometimes, too. Works great! =)

If you read the container of the Yoplus, it say that it is good past 7 days of the sell by date.
