$2/2 Orville Redenbacher Popcorn!

You can go to the Save-A-Lot site to print a $2/2 Orville Redenbacher 100 Calorie Popcorn coupon! This is a manufacturer's coupon, so you should be able to use it at Publix (or any other grocery store).

At Publix this week, O.R. Popcorn is on sale BOGO, so use this coupon to further sweeten the deal!

What About You: Popcorn and movie night soon?

Thanks, A Few Short Cuts!

My kids love popcorn everyday! Not just for movies. I think they are addicted. I love it when I find these kinds of deals!

Being a popcorn addict, I recently found myself needing a new way to afford my somewhat expensive snacking habit... last week I found the answer (and it wasn't coupons!).

Homemade Air-popped Popcorn:
3 TBS popcorn kernels (~$1/lb)
1 small paper bag (brown lunch bag, wine bag, whatever you get at the store or $1 for ~50 at dollar stores)

1. Put the popcorn kernels in the bag, fold over the end of the bag for a loose seal (staple once, use scotch tape, or neither).
2. Microwave until done popping, approximately 1 to 1 1/2 minutes. 3. Season to taste using salt, pepper, spray butter, powdered cheese, Parmesan cheese, etc.
4. Rejoice in saving money and fold the bag carefully for reuse later, if you want.

Makes roughly 3 cups of popped popcorn for a total of 110 calories (plus seasoning)! Yay! =)

My fave!
