Registering your CVS card online

In the CVS Basics post, I told you that one of the best things you can do is to register your CVS extra care card on their website after you get it in the store. This serves two purposes:

1. If you forget it while shopping, they can look your card up by phone number.

2. This is the most important reason. They send you coupons by e-mail every so often. I would say I get one at least every 4-6 weeks. They are usually $5/$25, or $4/$20, etc.

What I love so much about these is that Publix will accept these as competitor coupons at my store!! I just checked my e-mail this morning, and I had a $5/$30 purchase in my inbox. I'm so excited. I will be adding this to my pile of coupons when I go grocery shopping this weekend.

The great thing about these types of coupons, is that the coupon comes off of your total before all other coupons. So I could spend $35, hand them this coupon for $5, and then have an additional $25 in coupons, and only pay $5!

So go here to register your card online! Soon, you'll be getting hot money saving coupons in your e-mail inbox as well!

Also, don't forget that you should scan your CVS card on the price scanning machine in the store every chance you get. Those machines always pump out these kind of coupons!
