Thrifty Thursday -- Bath & Body Works, Card Games, and Kohl's Clearance Rack!

I picked up some seriously awesome thrifty deals this week, so I thought I would participate in Shelly's Thrifty Thursday! Check out all of my thrifty finds...

One of my best friends came in town this week from Chicago. She wanted to stop by Bath & Body Works to get a gift for her mom. I said, "Wait! I have coupons!" (Of Course)...

By combining the awesome $3 anti-bacterial soap sale with the coupon I had for an additional free anti-bacterial soap, I was able to pick up all 5 of the soaps in this picture for only $12 plus tax! That's more than half off the original price, since they usually sell for $5 each. =) I don't buy Bath & Body Works very often, so this was a splurge for me.

I also stopped by Target to finally take advantage of some of those Hasbro game deals!

I got both of the Pictureka games for only $.24 each, and the other two games for only $1.24 each! I paid a total of $4 and some change. Not bad, considering all of these games are normally priced at $5.24 each! These make great birthday gifts!

Last, but not least, I stopped by Kohl's to grab a birthday gift for my sister-in-law. I can't post a picture of what I got her, because she reads this blog. But it's safe to say I got a great deal on her gift. She'd be proud (she's very frugal as well)! I also found 2 jackets on the 80% off clearance rack for myself.

I rarely buy any clothes for myself, but when I do, I am extremely choosy. I won't pay more than $5 for a shirt and $8 for a pair of pants. Some people call me cheap, but that's just my price range of what I can afford. Clearance racks at Kohl's are my favorite. I usually hit up the 80% or 90% off racks, and stack a coupon on top of that. Tonight when I went, I had a 15% off coupon with me.

With the coupon and clearance price combined, I ended up paying only $6 each for these jackets! The black one was originally $40, and the pink one was originally $34. That's a savings of $62!!! Now that's my kind of shopping...

What About You: Are you a thrifty shopper when it comes to clothing and gifts? Any great finds this week?

Be sure to check out other great thrifty finds at Shelly's Thrifty Thursday post!

I love your thrifty deals. They make me itch to go out shopping. (Something I have been trying to avoid since we don't NEED anything!)

Love those jackets! You're my kind of shopper! I am also extremely frugal when shopping for clothes, or practically anything these days. I used to think I just had to tell my friends/family what I paid for my clothes when I got such a great deal, but now I just let them think I spend alot! They really don't need to know. ;)
