Happy Birthday Swag Bucks! (New sign-ups get SIX bonux swag bucks with special code)

I'm sure by now you've come to the realization that I'm basically in love with Swag Bucks. It is truly the most fantastic program I've ever signed up for. You won't believe me until you try it! I haven't paid for a single Christmas or birthday gift since I started using Swag Bucks. I even have Southwest gift cards to pay for my plane ticket when I go see my dad this summer!

If you've been reading post after post about Swag Bucks and haven't decided to take the plunge yet...TODAY is the day to sign up! Swag Bucks is offering my readers a registration sign-up swag code worth SIX swag bucks!

***So if you have yet to jump on board, go sign up right now! Simply fill out your information, enter the code FRUGALFUN1 in the "SwagCode" box, and then click the "Sign me up!" button to get started (the code is case-sensitive!). You will receive the normal 3 swag bucks that everyone receives for signing up, plus an additional 3 bonus swag bucks for using the code! (This code is active starting today at 9 am EST through next Thursday, March 4th at 9 am EST).

And to the rest of you who are already signed up and can not take advantage of this registration code, do not lose heart...

Swag Bucks is celebrating their birthday today by giving away TONS of swag codes on their official blog, Facebook, and Twitter. So be on alert while you're on the computer throughout the day. Codes will be flying like crazy everywhere! Also, you will have big chances at earning mega swag bucks, so be sure to use Swag Bucks all day today while you search.

You've probably noticed that Swag Bucks looks a little different today! As part of the celebration, Swag Bucks is rolling out some great new features and changes to make the program even better for you! Here are some things you can look forward to hearing about and experiencing with the brand new Swag Bucks 3.0:
  • A new and revamped home page! The new interface will be much more user-friendly and have a sharp new look to it. This will provide an all-around better experience for the Swag Bucks user.
  • A modified toolbar for the better. The new toolbar will have some great changes that allow users to take better advantage of it in ways never before possible. You will be able to log-in on the toolbar without even going to the home page! You will also be able to view those awesome special offers codes with just a click from the toolbar. You will be logged in at all times on the toolbar, which means you are interacting more with Swag Bucks without even realizing it. And you know what that translates to -- more earning and more prizes! You will now have to be logged in to see the Toolbar codes, as well.
  • A new Swagstakes Portal. This new portal will allow dozens of on-going sweepstakes to take place at one time! It will always be fully stocked for your viewing and entering. Be sure to check out the new launch of this Swagstakes Portal, because there are some great prizes being offered up to bid on!
  • All swag bucks earnings and prize prices will be multiplied by 10. So, instead of earning 1 swag buck from a search, you will be earning 10 swag bucks from a search. Don't worry -- everything will stay proportional as far as what you earn to the cost of the prizes. For example, the Amazon card that used to cost 45 swag bucks will now cost 450 swag bucks. The prices of the prizes are not going up! So those six swag bucks you're going to earn for signing up and using the code above? It will actually be 60 swag bucks. Why are they doing this, you ask? You'll just have to wait and see, but it is supposedly going to make awarding swag bucks lots of fun and open up new possibilities for earning.

I'm honestly wondering how everything will workout and what it will all be like, but Swag Bucks has never let me down in the past...and I know that any changes they are making are only for the better. Swag Bucks is going to be rockin'! So be sure to check out the new home page and all of the great features! It looks pretty cool! It looks like you can take a tour.

So if you still haven't signed up, be sure to sign up here and use the code FRUGALFUN1 to earn 6 (um, I mean, 60) bonus swag bucks! Remember, the code is case-sensitive and valid starting today at 9 am EST through 9 am EST of March 4th (next Thursday).

Happy Birthday Swag Bucks!

What About You: What do you think of all the great new features?

I'm not sure I'm liking the "new" swagbucks. So now, we win 10 swagbucks at once instead of 1. For what purpose except to make it feel like we're getting a lot when we aren't since they raised the prices of the awards to match. It will take some getting used to, that's all.

Nicole - It's taking me some getting used to as well. I think I'm kind of understanding why they did it. They can now split swag bucks. Like some codes are worth 22, 13, etc.

Lelys - That's too funny!

Cindi - Site is definitely draggin', but don't give up! There are codes everywhere...I just did a post about the ones I currently see!

Jen - Good job! =)

I didn't realize they were giving out "split" swagbucks until you mentioned it. I'm still not so sure though because sometimes it will only be 5 which isn't even worth a whole swagbuck of the old style. I guess we'll see! I'm not giving up yet.
