Reader Pays ONLY Tax On Her Publix Trip!

Lacie e-mailed me with her most recent trip to Publix, and WOW!!! Her total was negative, and all she paid was the tax that got her back into the positive.

She got everything pictured above for a total of $2.00! Her savings? ... $89.54! Great job, Lacie! You're awesome!

And again...you notice in her picture those precious little Knox gelatin boxes. Ahhh, the beauty of the $4 Knox coupon! =) He He.

Be sure to leave a comment to encourage and congratulate Lacie on her savings!

What About You: Want to share your savings? Feel free to e-mail me with a picture (try to fit it all into one pic, if you can) and summary of what you bought and saved, and I will try to post it! I usually pick out one reader's savings each week to highlight! (My e-mail is listed under the "about me" section on the right)

Awesome, Haylee -very inspiring!

The Knox coupon was on the Red Plum web site with zip code 90210 but is gone now. Was also regional in 1/24/10 RP but I didn't get it in my Jax insert.

Jax didn't receive the Knox coupon. It was regional, unfortunately. I was fortunate to have a reader send me some in the mail. (SO nice of her!)

Many people are buying them online in bulk - Ebay, other coupon clipping sites. I usually don't recommend doing that, unless it's a REALLY great coupon. In this case, it is toootttttallllyyy worth it!

Good luck!

I got the knox coupon through coupon clippers and paid about $4 for $80 worth of coupons! Definitely worth it.

my cashier didn't want to take the Knox q today because of the overage issue. I explained that most everything that I was purchasing was going to cost less than the qs that I had. She gave me a blank look, and I promptly, politely explained the q policy for the store.....she saved it for last for some reason, but in the end, she gave it to me without a asking for a manager, (which I was totally prepared to do). GOOD JOB HAYLEE!
