GIVEAWAY: Seventh Generation Spring Cleaning Gift Pack!

Just recently, My Blog Spark gave me the opportunity to try out some great Seventh Generation cleaning products. The cleaning products came just in time - yep, spring cleaning! We had our lease renewal, which usually gives us a good excuse to do some deep cleaning. It felt so nice to get the house looking spic n span again (and it's really great for reducing my stress-level).

Now all of you know that I have a laundry closet overflowing with free-after-coupon cleaning products, but I decided to try out some of these awesome environmentally friendly and non-toxic Seventh Generation products. I must say - I loved them!!!

The cleaners kill 99.99 % of germs botanically. The thyme and lemongrass scent was SO pleasant - such a clean and refreshing smell! It was a really nice change. I didn't have to smell any harsh chemicals on my hands or appliances. I felt like the cleaner got the job done, but without leaving toxic chemicals and smells all over the place. These non-toxic cleaners are very kid-friendly, for anybody who has children. I used the products on everything, and they worked great! The wipes were very convenient, and the paper towels were really durable (we used them for everything - from cleaning to everyday use).

You know what else is great about Seventh Generation? They put out hot high-value coupons quite often! In fact, I loved these products so much that I decided to pick up a few more cleaners last week. I was able to get them at Target for only $.99 a piece, after stacking coupons. So it's definitely possible to save on these natural cleaning products.

Would you like to give Seventh Generation products a try for FREE? Seventh Generation, through My Blog Spark, is offering up one spring cleaning gift pack for one of my readers! The gift pack includes everything pictured above: multi-surface disinfectant cleaner, bathroom cleaner, disinfectant wipes, 2 rolls of 100% recycled/unbleached paper towels, a cleaning caddy made from recycled plastic, and a copy of The Conscious Kitchen.

You can enter this giveaway up to 5 different times:

1. Leave a comment on this post telling me how you try to be environmentally friendly, or how this cleaning product will help you keep your home free of toxic chemicals that are bad for the environment! It is Earth Day this week, after all. :)

Remember - leave a separate comment for each way that you decide to enter the giveaway. For example, if you become a fan on Facebook, be sure to come back to this post and leave a separate comment telling me that you did so. The more comments you have, the better chance you have of winning!

I will choose the winner this Sunday (4/25) at 11 pm EST via random.org, and announce it in a post on this blog. The winner will have 3 days to respond.

Good luck everybody!

  1. I have really been wanting to try these products! I would LOVE to trade out my chemical cleaning products. We have already traded out all face washs, lotions, body washs, etc for all organic green products, and would like to continue with household cleaning products!

  4. #1 I would love to give these new products a shot. We try really hard in our household to not go overboard on chemicals, as we have a 2 year old that most certainly does not need to breath in such things - and neither do we! I am very sensitive to chemicals because I get such severe migraines. I'm willing to give anything a try. On the "environmentally friendly" level, we just signed for a new recycling program in our community where we recycle "as a whole" and get reward points which are redeemable for gift cards and such. We stoked to see how this one works out!

  6. I would love to try these cleaning products. I like to leave less of an environmental footprint and as of yet have not found a lot of cost-effective ways to do that cleaning-wise. This could be it!

  7. I also found a water bottle online that has a built in filter so I take it with me wherever I go. It saves me money and all those little plastic water bottles. It filters out chlorine which is a biggie because I am a teacher and all the school water tastes like bleach. I have been really disciplined about using reusable bags instead of plastic. I LOVE 7th generation products, but as a divorced teacher, cannot always afford them without a really good deal.

  12. I would love to try these cleaners out. WHen I clean with bleach and other products I always feel like I have to wash my hands a million times afterwards. It would be a nice change not to worry about the harsh chemicals in cleaners. Thanks for this great giveaway! Happy Earth Day!

  17. We've been using recyclable bags instead of plastic bags from the stores. I use recyclable bags for department stores purchases as well. Lately, I have allergies from the oak pollen around here and have been especially sensitive to cleaning products' smells. Makes cleaning the house even more of a chore. I'd love to try Seventh Generation.

  23. I JUST moved out of my parents house and into my own place. I'm using this opportunity to see how far I can push myself when it comes to being greener. I've started buying more energy efficient light bulbs and keep the thermostat in the off position most of the time. It's fun and I love being able to feel like I can make a difference. It would be great to be able to switch all of my cleaning products to something a little more earth friendly!
    Also, I'm a facebook fan.

  31. Unfortunately I have not been able to try these products although I wish I could as I have bad asthma and cleaners seem to make it worse. At this point someone else in the house has to clean the bathrooms because of the fumes. I use tea tree oil as much as possible but sometimes wish I could scrub deeper. Hopefully, I would win this line and then see which ones work best and which to try to afford.

  32. i have some breathing issues and the harsh cleaning vhemicals make it hard to breath while cleaning sometimes. i would love to try these to see if there is a differance.

  45. We recycle everything and we use the re-usable bags when grocery shopping. Also, when doing laundry, if something was spilled (almost always) on a piece of clothing, I use lemon juice to get it out. :)

  46. I would love to try these products. I recently got into using the re-usable bags and I want to continue going greener :-) I have three teenage boys in the house and I believe the pleasant smell that you talk about would be a great adddition to my home.

  48. I'm really not super environmentally conscious, although we do our best to recycle and not waste things, etc. However ... it'd be nice to change that! :) I think cost in terms of buying organic products and all that has been holding me back. But, if these cleaners can be had for as cheap as you found them, I would LOVE to give it a try! Environmentally (and kid!) friendly and cost efficient ... can't beat that! :)
