I have been couponing for awhile and have decided to try the CVS and Walgreens thing too, but now I am confused. I went to Walgs and purchased the ThermaCare(used the $1 online coupon), 6 pks of the .25panty hose and 2 Neosporin lip prods(used 2 $3 mq's). I pd 5.23 w/tax and got 5.50 rr's. Today, I went to a diff walgs and purch the ThermaCare and panty hose and used the $1 mq and 2.50 in rr. The rr's for the Thermacare didn't print out. The cashier said that it was because I used the rr to pay for it. When the mgr came over to print my rr's, he said it was because I used the mq. I am sooo confused. Can someone explain? Thx

Hi Lynn!

Basically, Walgreens has this policy set in place so that you can not "roll" the Register Rewards on the same product.

The Register Rewards did not print out for the Thermacare, because you were using Register Rewards that you had already gotten from the Thermacare Deal. Does that make sense?

Walgreens kind of has crazy couponing systems. There are all these hidden rules that even the manager doesn't know about sometimes!

Sorry that happened to you, though!

Yes I understand and yes it is crazy. The mgr was nice about it and printed the rr's for me anyway. I will never forget that one, that's for sure. When I go back today, I will make sure to spend the rr's I got from the Neosporin on them! Thank you so much for what you are doing. Btw, I like your Wed pic from Crescent Bch, I am in St. Aug, not far from sr206.
