Publix Deals (1/21 - 1/27)

If you are new to couponing at Publix, start here. If you're a beginner, be sure to check your store's coupon policy. Florida stores do not double coupons. In other states, check your store for info on whether or not they double coupons. Prices vary slightly from store to store, depending on your area.

Not a great week. The buy one get one free deals have been pretty lacking lately, in my opinion. The rotation of products has been pretty terrible! I feel like the same items keep going BOGO every other week. I will not complain though. I'm blessed to be able to shop at Publix. I still love you, Publix!...

Here are the best deals I see this week:

I can't seem to find the Stacy's coupon. Does anyone have a tip. When I click on the link it takes me to a survey page.

H! I just got back from the Publix in Argyle in Jax...the Stouffers meals were $4.99

Also, the Ritz crackers were priced$3.69, not $3.09 but still a good deal.

And there were no tearpads or peelies at that store for the salad dressing, deodarant, or razors which was a bummer...all things we could have used =)

I am new to this and appreciate all your work on your blog...it is so hlpful! We have 2 little boys and enormous grocery bills every month.

Right now I am just getting what I can to build up my closets so I dont have to buy cleaning supplies and some of this other stuff...a lot of your good deals on food I cant use yet because I dont have the coupons that far back, but this is a great start.

Yesterday I spent $14.98, and saved $32.69 and today I spent $13.22 and saved $34.87, plus will get 4 packs of the dole cups shortly...

Thanks again!!!

I recently found 2 Smart Ones coupons for Free Flatbread and Free Breakfast, each with purchase of any 5. Also, there was a blinkie in the store for Free Dessert w/p 5.

Is this a good time to use these 3 coupon?

Not sure where I got the other two coupons, they expire 4/30/10 and I got another one at the same time for $3/10.

The Publix in St. Augustine did not have a peelie for the Betolli's Sauce. The Peelie was for 55 cents off 2 Sargento's cheese. Darn them, I really like that sauce too!

Liz ~ Looks like the Stacy's coupon is no longer there. Thanks for heads up - I'll remove it.

Sarah ~ Congrats on your savings! You're doing awesome! Yes, prices tend to vary from store to store. And peelies/tearpads are just luck - again varies from store to store. You'll get your stash of coupons built up in no time at all! Until then, you're doing amazing! Thanks for visiting! =)

Christina ~ GREAT time to use those coupons! Awesome finds! =)

Savannah ~ Too bad! What a bummer! =( I never have luck with peelies at my store, unfortunately.

I am curious, being new to Jax- from CT.--Which are the best Publix stores? I live near San Marco area and I use the southside one, A brand new one just opened which is fun- Hopefully they will have some peelies today! :0)

Also last week I saw a woman and her husband with a file of coupons loading up her cart! LOL- I was like hmmmmm They KNOW! :)

thanks for all this great info Meg!

Maria! Hi! First of all, I tried sending you 2 e-mails in response to your first ones. They came back to me - said your inbox was full. If you fix it, I'll send them again. =) I'm so glad you commented again, because I was worried you might think I was ignoring you!

As far as the best stores, I'm really not sure. I live in Fruit Cove, which is pretty far from San Marco. From what I hear, the one on Southside (across from Tinseltown) has a great coupon policy. Also, the one on Baymeadows and 9A is supposed to be great, although I just got an e-mail today from a reader who told me the manager told her no more CVS coupons, so that might not be good...we'll see what comes of it!

HAHA! It's so fun to see fellow couponers in the store! It's just an instant bond, even if you don't know them! =)

First and foremost, THANK YOU for all of your time and effort! I definitely appreciate it. Please help clear my coupon confusion. If there is a BOGO item and I have 3 manufacture coupons, can I use them all? For example, the fiber one yogurt awhile back. When I was checking out, the cashier said I can only use 2 coupons. It seems like your posting allot more coupon usage. THANK YOU!!

Sara ~ You're very welcome! I'm here to help, and love making it easier on all of my wonderful readers. =)

As far as the coupons are concerned...for each item that is on sale, I post all available coupons underneath the item, just so you know what is out there. The cashier was right, though. You are only allowed one manufacturer coupon per item. So when you bought 2 Fiber One yogurts, you could use 1 coupon per item.

You are allowed to use one store coupon also, though. So if you have one manufacturer item and one store coupon (Publix or competitor), you can use both of those for one item.

Usually, under each sale item on the match-ups, I post "Best Deal" scenario, that explains what coupons to use to get the best deal.

I hope that helps some. Let me know if you're still confused. Try reading the "Supermarket Secret" and "Publix Basics" posts that explain coupon policies more in depth.

General Rule of Thumb, in summary, though: one manufacturer and one store coupon per item!

=)
