Update on UP and Monsters Inc Deal!!!

This awesome deal on the new blu-ray UP and Monsters Inc DVDs just keeps getting better and better! I can't even keep up with it all! I hope this post doesn't confuse you. =)

First of all, did you know that both of these blue-ray movies are double discs? There is one blu-ray DVD and one regular DVD. So even if you don't have a blue-ray player, but you have a regular DVD player, you can take advantage of this deal! I'm really excited, because this deal is amazing, and I don't have a blu-ray DVD player. I was pretty bummed that I couldn't take advantage of it before, but now I can't wait to go find a deal! This will make great Christmas gifts, and I might just have to grab a copy for myself and hubby. =) We LOVE Pixar!

Here's a recap, along with all the new information:

Coupons:

• $8 off Monsters Inc blu-ray DVD
• $10 off UP blu-ray DVD
• $10 off Target coupon when you buy both

Rebates:

• Get a $4 rebate on UP (Pasta Brands)
  
• Get a $5 rebate on UP (Kernel Seasons)
  
• Get a $5 rebate on UP (Viola)

*These rebates, especially the Viola and Pasta Brands, are really easy to get for cheap or free with coupons (especially if you have a Publix near you). I already have proof of purchase on Viola and the Pasta brands!

***The awesome thing about all 3 of these rebates is that each of them allows COPIES of receipts as proof of purchase, which means you can possibly send in for 2 of them with one movie! AND, each one only requires 1 proof of purchase tab on the back of the movie (there are 2 on each movie!)

*There is a limit of one rebate per household for each rebate. Be sure to read the details of each rebate form very carefully. ;)

Store Prices and Best Deals (at the moment):

If you price match at Target (so you can use that awesome $10 Target coupon):

• Take the Best Buy ad in to Target. They have the best prices on these DVDs right now: UP $23.99 and Monsters Inc $18.99
• Total = $42.98
• Minus all 3 coupons ($8,$10, and $10 Target) = $14.98 for both movies!
• Then you can submit for 1 or 2 rebates to pay as little as $4.98 total for both! WOW!
• **Also: I just heard that UP is reportedly ringing up at $19.99, rather than $23.99, so you might only have to price match Monsters Inc, and the price will be even cheaper!
  
• ***One more thing: Target tends to be extremely finicky about their coupons, price matching, etc. Bottom line is that if it seems like you're getting "too good of a deal", even if it's perfectly legal, sometimes they won't let you do it. That's just how Target is. Don't forget to take a coupon policy with you! Good luck! (You could just buy UP at $19.99 and use the coupon and rebates, or try the deal below for Walmart.)
  

If you're not in the mood to try to hassle with price matching at Target (this is me):

• UP is priced at $19.96 at Walmart
  
• Use the $10 coupon to pay only $9.96
• Submit for 1 or 2 of the rebates, and get it for possibly FREE or very cheap!
